St Nicholas Place, Pier Head, Liverpool The monument dedicated to the hundreds of men who died during the sinking of the Titanic. It was designed by Sir William Goscombe John and constructed c1916. Its dedication was broadened to include all maritime engine room fatalities incurred during the performance of duty in World War I. It is Grade II listed.
