Arg-e-Alishah, Tabriz, Iran by susiefleckney

Originally constructed in the 14th century as a mosque. It is one of the biggest buildings ever erected in Iran. It was used as a barracks in the last century, then declared a national monument in the 1970s, since when it has undergone some repair.
